Spin-on
Elements are disposable elements in a self-contained metal housing used
for removal of contaminants from hydraulic and lubricating oils, fuels,
water and air.
Containing surface
or depth type media such as pleated paper, synthetic or micro glass
fibers, or metal screens, these elements are suitable for up to 100
GPM/element, 700 PSIG operating pressure and 3-150 micron filtration
efficiency. Several hundred models are currently available from AOF.
Depending on the application these elements are available with metric
thread, screw thread or pipe thread connections.
Many spin-on
elements are available with built-in, anti-drain valves and bypass
valves to provide safe operation under adverse conditions.
